A while back I heard tell of this wonderful new knitting site where you can share with other knitting folks, search for new project ideas and get yourself organized. Well I knew I could use a little of all of those so I signed up. Since this is in beta mode they are (wisely) only handing out a small percentage of invites per day. So here I am waiting for that special email telling me I am now invited to join into Ravelry. These two are so cool they've even put up a page where you can check for yourself when exactly it was you signed on for this, where you are in line, now many are in front of you and behind you in line and the percentage that have received an invitation. As of today there are 'only' 1665 in front of me which at the rate invites go out I could get mine in under 2 weeks now. Guess I should get busy inventorying yarn, needles, books, patterns, notions and such... hmmm, maybe I need more time ;-)
Found you!
You signed up on June 12, 2007
You are #8516 on the list.
1665 people are ahead of you in line.
12133 people are behind you in line.
32% of the list has been invited so far
Have you been Ravelry'd yet? If so let me know so I can find you there too.

Yes, I still knit ;-)
I'm still here and still knitting away... along with working, filling orders and so on.
Mystery Stole 3 ~ I'm quickly becoming one of the "Slow Bee's".
I haven't picked this one up in a week and still finishing up clue 4 came out last Friday.
Fortunately Clue 5 doesn't come out until next Friday so i have just over a week to catch up.
In the meantime here's some lovely pics of MS3 in progress. I really am loving this project and know I will like this more than I ever thought.
Gratuitous Bead Shot Detail of what we don't know yet.
It's a Monkey ~ The Little Bunny Foo Foo Monkey socks are coming along and is mostly why I'm falling behind on MS3. Sock one completed and on the 4th of 9 repeats on the second. Sorry for the bad picture ... took it last night and not enough light. This is quickly replacing Falling Leaves from knitty.com as my favorite sock pattern for hand dyed sock yarns. It is also a freebie from our friends at knitty.com.
New Arrivals This Week! I will be getting my order of Camel Spin from Handmaiden Yarns as well as more Sea Silk in Ivory and Ocean. Camel Spin is 300 m of 70% Silk and 30% Baby Camel. There will be 5 introductory colors of this amazing yarn and can't wait to dream up a project/kit for this one. Finally getting more of the 2 popular colorways of Sea Silk in (Ivory and Ocean). They sold like hotcakes the first time around.

10 days and no posting
I have no excuse ... just caught up with work, knitting and life I guess.
Recap ~
The Donna's Favorites Chevron socks are done and I love them.
- Yarn: Claudia Hand Painted Fingering Weight in Donna's Favorites from my online shop.
- Needles: Addi Turbos (2 circs) size US1 (don't remember where I purchased these from).
- Pattern: Ribbed Feather Chevron from Sensational Knitted Socks from my library :-)
- Method: Toe Up (magic caston from knitty.com), Short Row heal, 6 row garter cuff used in pattern.
Thoughts ... I love this pattern! It was very simple to memorize and read your knitting and I really enjoyed the way it worked with this colorway and will definitely use it again.
I started another sock using this pattern using Opal Rainforest Flamingo and that bird will be visiting the frog pond soon and I'll find another 'flat' pattern for that one. I didn't like the way it was turning out and for that much finer sock weight I am getting over 10 stitches per inch and even with a size 5.5 shoe size I'll need probably 72 stitches.
Another sock was cast on and I am in love again. It's Cookie A's Monkey from Knitty.com. I know I'm coming late to that party. The yarn is .... Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock 'Little Bunny Foo Foo'. I love it!! Who knew a bunny could make such a beautiful monkey ;-)
I just turned the heel and the patter is fantastic. This colorway couldn't pool or flash if you tried with this pattern. I see a whole warren of bunny/monkeys in my future
Mystery Stole 3 Progress Report ~~~~
Clue 3 was released yesterday as scheduled and I'm up to row 157 of 200 and will work on it tonight. I love this project and Melanie's patterns so much that I purchased the pattern and yarn for Haname and joined that knit-a-long for that one too. I hope to finish Clue 3 tonight and post pictures tomorrow.

Happy Independance Day
Happy 4th of July! I will be off at my sisters enjoying time with family, food and fireworks.
Just a shot of some Red, White and Blue Jojoland fingering weight.
I'm hoping to turn the heal of my Donna's Favorite Feathered Ribbed sock today and finish it off before Friday when MS3 Clue 2 is released. Then there is the French Trellis final border to get back to .... I do have a plan of attack but just need to get to it.
